COVID-19 NOTICE: All in-person support group meetings have been moved online due to the coronavirus pandemic. We have additional videoconference support group sessions available via Zoom during this period, and have increased our online Facebook support group facilitation. Can’t make it to our in-person support groups? No problem! You can join in via videoconference from anywhere in the world.

Zoom is easy to use, and we send out the conference link each session so all you have to do is click and connect. You can also choose to join by video or just by voice- whatever you’re most comfortable with.

It’s a great chance to get to know others with similar experience, and we’ll also cover management strategies and tools to help you be well with fibro.

REGISTRATIONS:

Please register via the “Sign Up” button on the Facebook event for each session. Register with the email address you will be using to connect to Zoom, and you will receive an email with a link to join the meeting 20 minutes before the meeting starts.

If you don’t have access to Facebook registration, please email support@fibromyalgia.org.nz with “Registration – Zoom Support Group” in the subject line.

Each session is capped to 15 participants to make sure everyone feels comfortable and has a chance to share and ask questions. You can join via computer, telephone, and most other mobile devices. However, we recommend downloading the Zoom app from their website here, or from the AppStore in advance to make sure you can connect quickly.
